Week 2 D-3
One concept from the chapter that I really liked was Feedback. I enjoy getting feedback from others and believe it is a great thing to do with groups. It helps each member become a stronger team player and helps the group communicate effectively. When getting feedback from a larger group to the smaller one, it can help improve their group as a whole. Positive and negative feedback are both needed from groups to hear. It can encourage them to keep doing that works and to fix the problems that could be happening. Groups should always take into considerate the feedback they get from others and use it effectively. When getting feedback, it’s also nice to return the favor and give it to someone else. It really does help with small groups. I know from experience with a group that asking for feedback on the progress was helpful in order for us to get better at what we were doing and to work together better as well.

Hey, Roro!
ReplyDeleteI like the point that you made about asking others for feedback. In my experience, when one person in a group asks the other members for feedback, it makes me feel more involved and more comfortable asking for comments or constructive criticism in return. It also makes every member of the group feel like they are valued and contributing. The point you make about positive and negative feedback is also a good one. I agree that both kinds are needed in order for a group to continue to learn and improve. If all of the feedback is positive, mistakes could be overlooked; on the flip side, too much negative feedback can be deflating.
Cheers!
